- Microsoft Remote Desktop (Formally Known as Remote Desktop Connection) in Mac OS X. Microsoft Remote Desktop, a free application from Microsoft, allows you to use a Mac laptop or desktop to connect to and work from a Windows desktop computer that you have RDP access to in your on-campus office or lab.
Remote Desktop Connection is not available for Mac but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. The most popular Mac alternative is TeamViewer. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try AnyDesk or Chrome Remote Desktop. If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked more.

Note
The web client doesn't currently have mobile OS support.

In a browser, navigate to the Windows Virtual Desktop web client and sign in with your user account.
Note
If you've already signed in with a different Azure Active Directory account than the one you want to use for Windows Virtual Desktop, you should either sign out or use a private browser window.
After signing in, you should now see a list of resources. You can launch resources by selecting them like you would a normal app in the All Resources tab.
